FACT: Senator McCain requested that Senator Obama & the Commission on Presidential Debates postpone the upcoming debate (scheduled to take place this Friday), in response to the temporary suspension of his campaign.  McCain plans to return to Capitol Hill to help create a consensus in Congress concerning the financial bailout package. 

Senator John McCain stated that “Now is a time to come together — Democrats & Republicans — in a spirit of cooperation for the sake of the American people.”  

While Mr. McCain’s request might paint the portrait of a true American patriot, I’m not biting…something here smells fishy…and given the supermarkets’ recent upsurge in pricing, I haven’t cooked salmon in months.
