New York based urban apparel company UNDRCRWN just released their newest collection; a collaboration of UNDRCRWN’s creative director, Dustin Canalin with hip hop artist Mos Def. Canalin stated, “We took Mos Def’s DNA and applied it to ours. Many of the items incorporate the colors and cover print from the 2004 Dead Prez album Revolutionary But Gangsta, but also include personalization from Mos Def’s own life.” Click here to see the Mos Def Collecion on UNDRCRWN’s online store. Esfac’e Founder Tunde Sobomehin (2nd from right) and Collegiate Ambassador Demetric Sanders (front kneeling) were of the few soldiers that battled against the Business School (defending champs) to bring home yet another Championship for the Team Esfac’e Intramural Squad at Stanford University.
And now for the youth basketball, Esfac’e President Dele Sobomehin coached his 5th Grade All-Net NJB squad to an undefeated regular and post-season, winning the Regional Championship and also qualifying them for the National Tournament in LA on March 28-29th…La La Land here we come..let’s go!!

Twelve years have passed since we’ve suffered the loss of icon Christopher Wallace, aka Notorious B.I.G. He is remembered as a musician, a father, and an entrepreneur. Fact: Eastside Prep Varsity Boys (an Esfac’e Endorsed/sponsored team), coached by Esfac’e founder and former Stanford player, Tunde Sobomehin, won the CCS championship on Saturday, March 7th, 2009. Only his second year with the team and with limited personnel, Tunde has done an amazing job cultivating some true champions not only on the court but off court surmounting a number of obstacles that many East Palo Alto youth face due to single-parent households, financial turmoil and many other unfortunate circumstances.
Now they prepare for the Nor Cal Playoffs with their first two games being at their home court at Eastside prep in East Palo alto. We’d love to have you come out and support these warriors on Tuesday and Thursday at 7 pm.
Fact: At the 2009 Grammy Awards, Nas confirmed that that he was collaborating on an album with reggae musician Damian Marley (son of Reggae icon Bob Marley)which is expected to be released in Spring 2009, with a special edition expected to be available exclusively through Best Buy or Target. A portion of the profit is planned to go towards building a school in Africa. He went on to say that it was “too early to tell the title or anything like that”.
