It is with great sadness that I acknowledge a great man in the field of entertainment. Bernie Mac was only 50 years old when he passed, this morning. My condolences go out to his family and close friends. He was a great man, and a very funny one at that. Here is an article about his life and times, as well as more information on his passing. Fact: Two Esfac’e founders, Tunde and Dele, recently got the unique/once-in-a-life time opportunity to work out with the USA women’s olympic team as they prepared for the Beijing Olympics in the Maples Pavilion at Stanford University. At the end of the day, we both left with a deeper respect for women’s basketball and a higher basketball IQ…look out for footage on ESPN and be sure to watch the women on their quest to world domination on the hardwood.
